Merry Christmas

Hello,
Just wanted to take a moment and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. I have been busy today making fudge and baking cookies. Got some cheese dip in one slow cooker and little smokies in the other. Hubby, I , and the furbabies are enjoying a rainy Christmas Eve together. We have been watching Moonshiners on the Discovery Channel most of the day and can't wait till the 24 hours of the Christmas Story starts on TBS. We have done this for years, we turn every tv in the house on to the TBS channel and watch or listen to the 24 hours of the Christmas story. Just one of those silly traditions that started at least the last 10 years maybe longer. Hubby and I no longer exchange presents at Christmas, we buy what we need or want all year and we just enjoy spending time together at Christmas. Tomorrow will be spent with our niece and her family for Christmas. My children are spending Christmas with their significant others families, but that is ok. We love them and want them to do what makes them happy. We made a decision that hurt a lot of the family feelings when the kids were small. We quit going anywhere on Christmas Day. We told everyone we would gladly get together on Christmas Eve or any other time, but Christmas Day was family time. We would wake up way before the sun came up, opened gifts, cleaned up all the wrapping paper, made a big Christmas breakfast, and then the kids would play with their new presents and we would all take a nap LOL so, no hard feelings here this Christmas.

Enjoy your Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! Happy Birthday Jesus! Remember the Reason for the Season!

Praying for the families in CT

My heart is broken like so many of my fellow Americans tonight. Please remember those families in CT who were victims of this senseless tragic event. I can't begin to imagine what these families are feeling tonight. I have cried, prayed, cried some more, and tried to make sense of this, but I can not. I know for sure that these sweet children are now in the arms of a loving God and they will be forever taken care of by our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Things like this make you stop and remember what is really important in life. It is not about the presents, the decorations, the parties, and all the wonderful things we celebrate at Christmas but it is Jesus Christ and how He came to earth to give us life.

Hug your family a little tighter tonight. Please pray for all involved this mess.
Hugs,
Lynn

please help if possible

Hello,
I am selling some of the treasures I have purchased from ebay, etsy, antique stores, and other places we have visited.
I have to take pictures of all of the handmade and vintage pot holders that I have purchased from ebay. I also have toys for sale, the red chime apple from Fisher Price, Little Golden Books, and other vintage books, vintage Christmas cards, vintage Valentines, Mary E. magazines, vintage cake decorations, a Irmi Mobile I bought from ebay and never opened the box.

pictures are from Creative Breathing Etsy's page and Kris Hurst's etsy page

I am also selling the items I bought from Elizabeth of Creative breathing.

The two items I purchased from Elizabeth were 12.00 each and the first one was 5.00 for shipping and the second one was 4.00 for shipping. The third picture is a set of Christmas crafting items from Kris Hurst. I paid 34.00 plus 4.00 for shipping.
I also have a Fourth of July Sparkler chcharacter from Elizabeth. I paid 15.00 for it and that included shipping. All items from Elizabeth are still in the packaging I received them in.
If you are interested in the items pictures or any of the list of items that I need to photograph, please just email me and let me know or leave a comment. I am selling my items to earn money to do a home improvement project we want to do. I also have several baby themed planters if anyone would like to see pictures of those.
I also have lots of scrapbook supplies, stamping supplies, and stamp sets that I would love to sell, so if you are interested in any of those items just let me know and I will take photos and send them to you.

Thanks so much and thanks for the kind words and good thoughts send my way.  I will share why I need to step away and why I need to purge items from my massive collections. I am in constant pain, there is not a moment that I do not feel it. At times, it is so sharp it takes my breath away. I can no longer do simple household chores without being in tears. The drs answers are to keep increasing the dosage and amount of pills they want me to take. Lets just say that I am miserable!

I want to publicly apologize to Erica and the lady that I was paired with in the putz house swap. I have the house and I got it painted but that was as far as I got. I never saw a reply to my emails and Erica has told me the lady sent me emails but I never got them. I have went back and looked at old mail and spam mail folder rs on my account and there are not there so I am not sure what happened. Erica told me the lady got my address from an online friend and mailed me a house. It has not arrived yet but when it does, I will return it. I can't keep the house, it would not be the right thing to do. I am very ashamed, this is the first swap since I began online swapping in 2004 that I didn't complete the swap. I am so sorry..

Please email me if you are interested in purchasing any of the items pictured above or are interested in any of the many items I have listed for sale. I am wanting to redo my bathroom to make it fit more with my primitive style of decorating. I want to put bead board on the walls, reproduction tin ceiling tiles, and hubby wants to do ceramic tile around the top of the shower and tub. I have found the shower curtain and bath accessories that I want to use and just those are going to be around 300.00. So, I have a lot of stuff to sale to get to that plus all the materials for the redo. It is giving me something to focus my attention on and that is good. So, I am selling all of my retro collections-crochet pot holders and hot pads, vintage toys and children's books, baby planters and nursery items, I have a few aprons to sell that were not gifts, tons of scrapbook and stamping supplies, Mary E. magazines, vintage Christmas cards, Vintage birthday, anniversary, get well, welcome baby, an valentine cards, vintage cake and cupcake decorations, vintage Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys books, vintage office supplies, vintage office stamp holder, vintage office stamps, vintage tins, and vintage sewing supplies. So, if you are interested in something just leave me a comment or email me at pls0818@aol.com and I will take photos of what you are wanting to see. I am selling items for what I paid for them.

A special thank you to those of you who have sent up prayers for. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!
Hugs,
Lynn, Pebbles, Bella, Sarge, and Cocoa

Bye for Now

Hello,
I have not been blogging and really not on the Internet that much anymore. Dealing with a lot of medical issues and pain that never goes away. It is getting the best of me.I try really hard to deal with it and still keep going and keep smiling but I am slowly losing the race. It is really doing a job on me, mentally, emotionally, and physically.

I am stepping away for a while and not sure when and if I will be back. I just don't have the energy it takes to take pictures and upload them and then wait and wait and wait for blogger to take them and then losing all of the images and having to do it again. It drives me crazy and gets on my nerves and that is stupid for me to keep doing something that is not all that important in the big picture.

Jenny thank you for all of the wonderful Halloween goodies and the adorable witches hat. It got lots of ohs and ahhs when family visited in October.

I hope each of you have the best Christmas ever and that the New Year will only bring good things to all of us. With the way our nation is going we will need all the help and encouragement we can give each other.

Thank you to all of you that have prayed for me and sent cyber hugs and good wishes. They are so appreciated. I love all of  blogs and the wonderful things you ladies created.I have been so inspired by all of you and your awesome creations and try my hand at trying to copy the things you girls create, lets just say I am not the best crafter in the room LOL

Love,
Lynn, Pebbles, Bella, Sarge, and Cocoa

HELP!!!! TIPS AND ADVICE NEEDED

Hello everyone! I am in a big ole mess!! Well actually, honestly, it is not really me in a mess but my
much loved and very neglected craft room!!! Don't judge to harshly OK?? I had the best of intentions to get in there and get it all whipped into shape! I found the perfect vintage items I had been searching for. Hubby and I enjoyed the trips out junking and celebrated when I found my vintage
white enamel top kitchen table. I wanted one trimmed in red, but the one with black trim was in a small antique store in Lincolnton, NC that I couldn't pass it up. Then to be able to find and purchase a
set of vintage wooden file cabinet was a dream come true. Oh my gosh, wait till you see the pictures of it!!!  At the same estate auction we bidded on and won an old trunk with the top divider section still intact and in pretty good shape. My problem now is how to pair down the remaining furniture in the room and where to put everything so it looks super nice like the pictures of your craft spaces.

I could use tips or advice on how to store the many vintage greeting cards, the vintage valentines, the
vintage cake decorations, and all sorts of embellishments.

We also purchased this old shelf type thing from the above mentioned estate auction. It would be perfect to display my collection of paper flowers and other flowers from Prima. Don't you just love
Prima's products?? But I can't figure out where to put it that it would still be close to my crafting desk. Right now my table sits in front of the wall that is a built in shelves that my hubby designed the
layout and then built the shelves. Those shelves hold my scrapbook albums, lots of those white craft organizers that have either 3 or 4 drawers. Then to the left of my table along that wall is another set of 3 tall and 4 white of white craft room storage. I have several of the paper holder ones and they contain my scrapbooking paper and cardstock. My paper is organized by color of all of my Close to my Heart paper packets, the rest of my scrapbook paper is oragnized by brand name such as Daisy D's, Rusty Pickle, DCWV,Bo Bunny, and if it is not one of these brands, the paper is organized by theme such a patriotic, military, pets, holidays. I think the paper is good to go as the systme I have works for me. I know where each color, theme, or brand of paper is and I just go to that shelf and pull it out to I find the one I want to use. I could use help on how to organize and store the vintage greeting cards and how you store and organize the vintage valentines.

I have a huge collection of wooden and clear stamps. Right now the wooden stamps are stored in one of those tall drawer plastic containers made by Rubbermade. The stamps are organized by themes or holidays. My clear stamp sets from Close to my Heart are in 4 of the clear stamp organziers that they sale. I keep my other clear stamps sets in a scrapbooking tote thingie that you would carry to crops. It has a big section in the middle with pockets all around the outside to hold pens, scissors, glue pens, really anything you can stuff in it! I have a lot of stuff stored in mine LOL!

You can look back in my old posts and find pictures of my craft room.

Thanks for all the help and thanks for everyone that remembers to say a pray for me!
Big hugs,
Lynn

ps to all of my friendship banners swapers! I am almost finished with the bad babies! I think they are looking pretty good! I should mail by Sat or Mon! I have received several in the mail so far but want to wait till they all get here to take pics of them.

Happy mail day!

OH MY GOSH!! Is this not the sweetest doxie ever??? I named her Baby after my sweet doxie that we had for 16 amazing years. Baby passed away on December 4, 2010. I still tear up when I think of her which is almost daily. Sweet Meri from ImagMeri made her for me. I love that she tied my favorite red, white, and blue ribbins around her neck and painted the base in those colors too.

Meri,
Thank you so much for making this sweet doxie for me!! It was so worth the wait on her!! Your work is so amazing and I am so pleased to have an original by Meri! I love the sweet label you put on the bottom!!! I will treasure this forever! Thank you so much!! You were one of the first ladies to welcome me into the circle of bloggers when I found you girls late last summer!! I found a blog called Old Glory Cottage. Carol's blog stole my heart because of her love for the red, white, and blue and anything patriotic!! She had an amazing list of blogs on the side of her blog. I visited each one that she had listed and discovered the most wonderful women and the adorable art and creations. It has been such a blessing in my life. I wanted to thank you for accepting my hand in friendship when I extended last year! Your prayers and encouragement have meant so much to me!!
Hugs,
Lynn

ps, I have gotten more packages this week. but I have had a bad pain week. It has been rainy and damp most of the week and that plays havoc with my body. I have two choices, don't take the pain meds and hurt so bad I can't stand myself or take the pain meds and be so groggy and sleepy that I can't stand myself and just give up and sleep the days away!! Please pray for my hubby!! He needs the prayers too , even though he can't feel the pain that I have, it affects his life like it does mine. Maybe worst for him. I can't do the things I used to do anymore. I am a huge clean freak and used to sweep, mop, clean the bathroom, kitchen, and dust daily! yes, I know crazy! Now if I do this, I can't hardly move the next day!!!! So, my illness has limited what I do, the trips we take, and everything and everyday life! I so hate it!!! I wished  a million times that I could have a new spine! One that was normal and that didn't cause pain with ever movement I make! so, I will take pictures and post all the goodies I have gotten this week soon.
I appreciate all the wonderful ladies I have met while blogging! You ladies have inspired me so much!! Hugs,

Pebbles' Birthday party

This is our oldest furbaby, Pebbles! She is in her party dress waiting for the birthday party to get started!
Here is the party table and decorations. I made the happy birthday banner with DCWV pet stack 12x12 paper. The treat bags are filled with dog treats and a dog toy for each of the furbabies! Yes, we are those crazy dog people LOL
This is our youngest furbaby, Cocoa Puff!! She is wearing a party dress too! all furbabies get dressed up to attend the birthday parties!
This is our only little boy, Sarge!! He is wearing his cameo jacket for the party and trying to sneak and grab a goodie bag off the table when I wasn't looking! Haha Daddy caught him and snapped the picture!
Here is our Bella Boo! She is so dainty and such a little diva on top of it! Her color is listed as an Isabella. She is a soft gray color. Sarge and her are a couple and Cocoa Puff is one of their puppies!
Another picture of the birthday girl Pebbles in her party dress and matching birthday hat! The green thing beside her is a stuffed woodpecker from Kohl's. She loved that toy!! I buy the stuff animals at Kohl's when the hit the clearence for 2.50 each. I usually buy 4 of them so each furbaby has their own. I know, trust me, my furbabies are treated better than some children.  They give me unconditional love and compainionship. They do not care if I am not feeling good, don't have my makeup on and my hair done, they just want to be close to me and love on me and I love them so much! Can't imagine life without them!!!
Another shot of sweet Bella Boo in her party dress and birthday party hat!! We have a shop called Cozy Petza about 4 minutes from the house. She handmakes all of her dog clothes and sells them in specaility shops all over the country. We found some of her outfits in a pet store at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She loves to dress the furbabies and they have a ball when we take them to her store. She makes the cute birthday hats too. She is very talented and is such a sweet lady !

Just wanted to share a little of the reason why the title of my blog is Life on The Wienee Ranch!! These sweet furbabies are such a big part of our lives! They have brought lots of happiness and joy into our lives. Pebbles is 14 now , Bella just turned 6, Sarge will be 6 on July 20th, and Cocoa turns 5 on September 20th!

Have a wonderful week!

Lynn

Fourth of July tear bears

Hello,
Hope everyone had a wonderful July 4th week!! We did!! It was hot and humid but hubby ,I, and the four furbabies had a wonderful week. We took a couple of day trips, got some projects finished at the house, and of course started a few more. Seems you never get done with the honey do lists!! I wanted to share these wonderful tear bears with you. I bought them a few years ago off of ebay from a paper artist known as paper piecings by Olivia!! Her work was very popular and her tear bears caused quite a few bidding wars. I was lucky to win several of her pieces over the years. Sadly, she is no longer creating these wonderful little pieces of art!! She made a couple of pieces for me special order, a softball bear and a soldier bear!!
Have a wonderful week!

I am up to taking on a few more friendship garland pals if anyone is interested! Just let me know!
hugs and stay cool.

for her friendship garland and in turn she would make a banner for their friendship garland. I have
sent out emails to some wonderful and talent bloggers that have welcomed me into
their online circle of friends to join me in making a banner for my friendship garland and I will make one for them.
Above are the tags that I made for the Cartoon tag swap that Tammy from
Tammy's in Love blog is hosting! I had so much fun making these tags. I new I wanted to use my favorite
color combination of red, white, and blue. Anyone that knows me or has visisted  me here on my blog,
know that I love anything red, white, blue, Americana, or patriotic. So when I went hunting for
images to use for my tags and I came across these Huckleberry Hound images on google, I knew I had
the images and theme for my tags! I am so proud of the way they turned out:O):O)!!!!

This is a picture of Elizabeth's banner from Creative Breathing
